Vietnam is home to 54 different ethnic minorities. Sapa is home to several of these, and when you visit Sapa, you will meet them in their home area.
Each minority has it own language, traditional clothing and traditions. They also live in different areas of the mountains.

Weather in Sapa
Sapa lies high in the mountains of North Vietnam. Here you will enjoy four differents seasons of the year. The area is also home to Indochinas highest point Fan Si Pan in Hoang Lien National Park.
In wintertime you may experience snow fall, and in summer temperatures will go to 30 degrees celcius.
The best time of year to visit Sapa is in march-april with temperatures around 20-25 degrees or september with harvest season.
